Master Lapenna wins the 8th stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi

The eighth stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi in Sassuolo recorded a total of 18 participants, no fewer than 7 of them of master category. Master Antonio Lapenna wins the tournament, finishing with a perfect score of 10 points out of 10. Second Master Giuseppe Coratella from Verona (8) and third FIDE Master Valerio Luciani (7), also from Verona. Marco Vincenzi prevails in the 2000-2200 band, Marco Benincasa in the 1800-2000 band, Moreno Merciari in the 1600-1800 band, Antonio Fiore in the 1450-1600 band and Pier Giulio Maletti in the band below 1450. We look forward to seeing many of you at the ninth stage in Sassuolo on Tuesday 1 July.
