CM Paoli wins the 6th stage of the 2014 TDT

The sixth stage in Modena recorded a participation record, with no fewer than 16 players at the starting line. Candidate Master Walter Paoli wins the tournament with 5.5 points out of 6. Second place for Marco Benincasa (4.5) and third on tie-break Marco Vincenzi (4). Luciano Panini wins the 1N-2N prize and Simone Cattini the 3N-NC one. In the overall standings after 6 tournaments the battle for second place is heating up, with no fewer than 4 players within a point and a half (Frigieri, Paoli, Vincenzi and Benincasa).
