FM Gabriele Franchini dominates the ninth blitz stage

Good turnout at the ninth blitz of the 2013 circuit in Modena, which saw 15 players from all over the province take part. FIDE Master Gabriele Franchini wins the ninth event of the circuit with 9.5 points out of 10, ahead of Candidate Master Marco Benincasa. Third place with 6.5 out of 10 for CM Michelangelo Lapenna. We look forward to seeing many of you at the tenth stage on Thursday 11 July in Crevalcore, at via del Papa 1558d.
