Club 64's Momo win the CIS U16 Regional stage

The regional stage of the Italian under-16 team championship, which offered qualification for the national stage in Cesenatico (31 October - 3 November), was held on Sunday 29 September 2013. 5 rounds of 30 minutes were played. Fair overall participation in the event, in which a total of 9 teams took part, representing however only 2 clubs in the Region. There were in fact 4 teams from Club 64 of Modena (the organising club) and no fewer than 5 teams from Ferrara, testimony to the excellent work that the Romagna province is doing in the youth sector. Under the national rules, with 9 teams in total, the top 3 overall earned a place in the national final in Cesenatico. The national final was secured by 3 Club 64 teams, the club managing to place 3 of its 4 teams on the podium. The Club 64 team of the Momo (Tazzioli, Ferraguti, Cerletti, Ballista) wins the tournament with a perfect score. The gap in average Elo compared with the other teams left the opponents little chance. Second overall (7 out of 10) the Young Boys Club 64 team (Wang, Trenti M., Faglioni, Trenti F.) and third overall the Club 64 Giovani team (Venturelli G., Becchi, Melotti, Venturelli E.). The prize reserved for the first team with an average Elo below 1500 goes to Ferrara 2 (Scagliarini, Sarti, Sitta, Di Biccari), which also finished fourth overall. Thanks to the many volunteers present during the day for the success of the event (arbiters Mancini, Sfera and Ballista and the chaperones and parents Di Trapani, Ballista and Dentale).
